Drive with out intercooler

I just bought a 2002 F-350, it has some front end damage including the intercooler needing replaced. My question is can I drive it a short distance (taking it real easy) with out the intercooler without causing any more damage to the turbo? I have already had it towed twice since I bought it and I'm trying to avoid a third tow in 2 weeks.

Thanks.

The two big issues I see are that you would be sucking in raw unfiltered air and your EGT's would be insane.

If you could figure out a way to hook the turbo right up to the intake sure. The obs does not have a IC and many older turbo diesels did not either. If you simply pull out the IC pipes and the IC you will not have a turbo and the engine would suck raw air in. BUT get a pipe to hook the turbo to the intake on each side of the block and sure you can do it.

If you were to bypass the IC, sure no problem.
