Is the EGR tube???

I have the E99 7.3 and I am needing the EGR Tube that runs from the EBP sensor down to the manifold on the front of the engine. I patched it once but now its just to far rotten to fix. I found some on Ebay but they all say 2001 and up. Will that tube work on mine as well? The picture looks like mine but who knows? If it doesn't match , any one know where I can get one for my truck? Thanks

You can get them from the dealer for around $50.

I think some discount places only go back 10 years for parts listing. I bought one a while back for a 2001 (not ebay) and it fit my 2000 like it was made for it

I found one on ebay for 36.00 free shipping and it looks just like mine in the picture but it says 2001 and up. Makes me nervous but I will probably go ahead and get it. Worse case I sell it to some one else just to get my money back. Thanks.

@justinlogue5_0

I just finished replacing the ebp tube on my e99 (built 10/98) last week with the Ford part number 1C3Z-9D477-AA. I asked the Ford parts guy if this for sure fits an e99 truck because I also had read where some of the aftermarket tubes were listed for only 2001 and up 7.3's, but referenced this same Ford part number as the OEM duplicate. He said this updated part number is listed to work for all SD 7.3 trucks e99-2003. So any aftermarket tube that references the above Ford part number should work for you.

Since this is an updated part number, I've wondered if the aftermarket companies have researched when this part number became active and just use that year as the starting point for trucks it is compatible for. For instance, maybe this updated part number became active in 2001 and the aftermarket companies are basing compatability on 7.3 SD's made during or after that year. Just a thought.

That does make since. Unlesss you have a early OBS, isn't all 7.3's the same anyways? With the exception of a few minor details that the E99 didn't have V's the newer 7.3's.
