05+ Dash Conversion

I have an E99 with an 05 Front end conversion. I bought it about a week ago and am wanting to replace the dash face b/c the PO drilled a bunch of holes into it to lazily installed "stuff"... Well, I was thinking about putting an 05 dash face in its place along with the headlight switch, dash vents and upfitter switches to kinda "match" the front end conversion.... I'm assuming its as easy as popping the newer model face on and aquiring all the pieces to fit in the 05 face. Just wanting to make sure. Thanks guys and I hope my rambling made sense to ya.

Wish it was that easy, but it's not. The vents are a different size. The radio and HVAC controls don't line up.

Go over to the FTE site and look under the Excursion section. Someone (outofcontrolreb) just put up a "how To" section after putting an 07 King Ranch into an 01 Ex. Looks awesome and a good write up. I am going to start buying parts as I find them to do this as well. The F-650 mod would look with that dash.
