Fuse Box
Has anyone replaced the fuse box due to a no start/no WTS? I upgraded the PCM to a PMT2 because I thought that was the issue. However I still have a no WTS light that pops up once or twice every couple weeks, I kick the dash and the light comes back on and she runs like a top. I checked online and Sam Pack carries the fuse box in stock, which usually indicates that there are problems with them
. Thanks, Bill |

Check fuse #30. It's the fuse that also takes care of the fuel bowl heater. It blew on mine and the truck died and no WTS light. I just unplugged the fuel bowl heater on the bottom of the fuel bowl and that took care of it!!

Already done, the truck is good now with a once in a while issue. I unplugged, checked and triple check everything. I've done everything but swapped the fuse box, and I will replace that in a couple weeks. The only reason I've narrowed it to that is the bumping/kicking the dash, I'm pretty sure that won't rattle the fuel bowl heater LOL! I have had the fuse box out twice, checked and rechecked the connections, I've even tried to take it apart to check the inner connections and that's a no go
... So replacement is my last option, and they aren't ridiculously over priced so I'm just gonna bite the bullet ands hope it doesn't act up again |
