When it rains..... No Start..
I don't know why... Nothing changed. I turn the key and starter clicks but don't turn over. New starter, batteries charged, connections solid, no errors/DTCs and put a wrech on the motor and turned it by hand to make sure it wasn't locked. I don't get it and I need this pig running.
Could it possibly be the ground from frame to motor or something? I'm really confused.

Oh, the title, rain has nothing to do with it... I just meant when it rains it poors because of the problems I've been having.

I hate electrical problems like yours. They are a pain to trouble shoot.

Check the resistance of the cables from the batteries to the starter. My neighbors 95 had the same problem . The original cables with 318K had high resistance, take a heavy duty set of jumper cables and connect the battery to the starter . His cranked like it was new . He had a set of heavy welding cables made up for less than 50 bucks. Totally new truck now.

Did you load test the batteries? What was the CCA? Still sounds like a battery issue to me.

Got it started. Something told me to rotate the engine again so I cranked the engine a half turn by and and it fires right up. Now it's making a god aweful screeching sound and I can't tell where it's coming from... This sucks....

Wheres it coming from? Sounds like a bad starter, like it's stuck on.
