rock auto has the motorcraft water pump for 230. but the pic of the part shows this..
last time i purchased a moto wp was at ford, and it came with the down pipe on it. the pic doesnt show that. just wanted to know if i have to order that separately or use mine with a new seal. or what other brands of wp that works and last? |

I just did my water pump on tuesday and got it a sanels for 109.09 brand new. and I just teplaced the o ring on the down pipe and reused the old one.

hmmm. thats a good price jrod, and ya i'd reuse it if its okay.
btw mines not dripping at the moment, im thinking the seal has a small crack somewhere and is expanding and contracting with heating and cooling, odd. |

Just replaced mine and reused the old pipe but it did come with a new one.
Paid about $200 from Autozone. |

Did a price match at autozone and paid 109. reused the downpipe.
I made a new thermostat housing out of aluminum to replace that crappy stamped one though. |

Dang... thats pretty dern cool!
I'm hoping to buy my Coolant bypass filter, 203* T-Stat, and a billet housing this week. Then gonna to the ELC coolant swap. I have a pending gun sale... if all goes well, I will be ordering some mods this week.
