help!!! accelerator problem and overdrive issue..

Ok..i stop for diesel last nite..go to pull off and pedal will not do nothing..i check my fuses and sure enuff i have blown fuse..change fuse and good to go...i go to leave this morning and it blows another fuse..replace fuse and make it to work but my overdrive button will not work..the overdrive off button stays ON..so i cant get my drive into overdrive..any ideas..just a heads up as well i have a torque convertr going bad..would that cause this???

usual problem are the wires for od switch in the column remove ignition swich and plastic covers inspect where they rubbing on the column

Thanks huj..i got bottom cover off already..any tricks to getting ignition out??

Look up at the bottom of the lock cylinder you'll see an 1/8th inch round hole. Rotate the key into the "run" position, push up into that hole with something and simply draw the cylinder out

Thanks..ima take it all apart when i get home..seems if wires were shorted though the overdrive off light would be out....idk..
