MAN...took the chip out

so my chip is just the superchips programmer 1705 & while empty or not towing i run around in high. i decided to remove it & tow my hauler about 90 miles on flat ground & doing 55mph (i left early & had plenty of time to get there). i was full of fuel the night before. by the time i got to where i was going i was down between 1/2 & 3/4 of a tanks (long bed 38 gal.) i dont think im ever running in stock mode again. would really like to get a PHP FU chip with some custom econo tunes but cant justify it right now seeings how i have a daily driver to go to work in.
ok thats it just thought id share

You know, I just said to the wife the other day... "I have been trying to figure out what tune to run for best mpg and you know what... I haven't ever tried stock"
Glad you shared, and saved me time, money and fun.

Scott

This just about sums it up... and gives me hope. My red truck is still running with no tunes... as soon as I pull the PCM to get the code, I'll be calling to order a DP Tuner...

But for now... it's sluggish. I sure hope the low end throttle response gets better... alot better.

And to the OP with the 'tiny' picture... I like the wheels on your truck...
