HPOP

According to ford I need a new HPOP. Long story and really don't want to go into it now. But whats the best thing to do? Should I go back with stock or just go aftermarket? Ford said it was going to be another $1600 on top of the $750 I'm already having to spend. Thanks for the input. But I'm just debating selling my truck.

SRP1's are sold out..as far as I know no one has any and the next run is 60 days out.

How did they determine its the HPOP?
If it is I'd just get a rebuilt..$400+- or a good used one if your selling the pump.

Well ford said it was out when my truck was in there. I was 6 hrs from home and broke down. Truck had horrible power. But ended up finding a guy about 1.5hrs away from where I was that had a adrenline in stock. So I had him put it on. Normally I would do the work my self. But didn't have a place to do it and didn't have tools. So had to pay for this one big time. And I'm a little irritated since I paid ford almost $800 and when I left there my truck drove out the same as when I drove it in. The stuff they did made no difference.
