auto to 6 speed swap

hey guys,
I am planning on swapping out my auto transmission and putting a zf 6. I am thinking about buying a donor truck to do the swap. My truck is a 2001 f250 ext cab short bed. the donor truck would be a 1999 crew cab long bed. I have read lots of threads about swapping auto to manual, but my question is how hard would it be to put the auto in the donor truck so i could sell it, or would i be better to try and part out the truck?
