I want to be mobile!

Ok Guys I have a samsung phone with the android os. How do I get Powerstroke.org on my phone?

When I go to it on my iphone, its prompts me if I want the mobile version, then brings me to the app store, not sure for droid though

I have a HTC incredible. And the first tine you go to the website it will prompt you that its an Android native website, would you like to download the app. Delete your internet history and all the saved data such as the bar memory. Then go to the org and it should pop up again. Say yes but I think its like 3.99 or something.

Why would you want to do that? The main purpose behind mobile versions is that they don't show pics, etc. More for non "smart" phones. Your smart phone should be plenty fast loading pages and pics unless you have poor coverage in your area. The mobile site versions are typically just text. I haven't checkout out this site but I always decline the mobile version of all sites.

I actually like it. Its great the way it is setup for quick and on the go. Just wish you could set it up to start in a certain forum rather than having to run down the list to the org.

well I don't use it because my Android is plenty fast as you said. Like a mini computer but some people like it .

my phone is fast but i did not know if the .org had an android app.. we might need to see if we can get an app make i would donate to the cause..

You can. Just go to the forum you want to start in when you come to the site, then save it in your favorites/bookmarks. Next time you want to visit powerstroke.org just go to your favorites/bookmarks and select this site.



Quick search came up with that there is a droid app for this. Check this thread,

New Mobile app

I didn't read through it but it appears the droid version is a pay app.
