Take Brake cleaner to all the latches. Just spray them down real good. Then follow up with a dry lubricant. The problem is dirt build up on the latch will not allow the latch to ground out.

There is many threads about this on the site.

what if i took the pressure washer with heat on it think that would help? or too much..thats a good idea. and if that doesnt work its safe to say the latch could be bad? is there a sensor for that in the latch itsself?

Mine is on because my security module is f'ed up. Ford wanted like $600 for a new one, so I just deal with the light... Although everything else works just fine, just the stupid light. But it seems most people around here have problems with the latch.

Clean them one at a time and see if the light goes off on the dash. If it does then you found the one that was causing the problem.

My driver rear door does that. well it's always off actually. Once my boss borrowed my truck and then my int light wouldn't turn off like yours so I degreased/powerwashed the door jambs and then sprayed a bunch of fluid film in the latches (then slammed the doors a bunch of times to work it in there)

I just did that to a friends ranger the other day too lol
