Ive got a set of like new polished aluminum wheels 16.5x10 for a super duty, I'd like to get $200 bucks + shipping for them....

if im correct..to run military tires, i would need 9.75 wide correct?

yup, 9.75 would work for mil spec hummer tires... the radial 37's would be better...
However, finding the rims to fit the stupid 170mm bolt pattern is not easy. I was laughed at when I asked about them a few months ago... was able to find a set used from a buddy and traded for them... no support for the 16.5's at all... too bad that's all I have for my mud trucks! |

i'm wanting to get away from my 16.5.... try finding a decent looking wheel for 8x165 patteren!

CHUCK, the OBS trucks are 8x6.5", not 165mm... might be close, but 'by the book', it's a inch measurement not metric. Nice thing there, is that it's the same across the board... you can bolt up aftermarket rims that fit a chevy, dodge of any year, or ford before '97... why Ford changed then, I have no idea. Stupid move in my book. The diffrence is no more than an 1/8" from 6.5" to 170mm, all it did is make the superdutys have a ba$tard size wheel... That has to be my only real complaint, other than early '99 'cup throwers'.
