99 wheel bearign problem

hey guys. I need a new front left wheel bearing. So i see my truck is manufactured in 2/99 i should need the earlier one? But looking at pictures on eBay i notice the newer one (3/22/99 and after) have a wire for the abs i assume coming out of them? Which so does the one that on my truck now. It should be the original. Any idea which one i need or is there a wire that still goes into the older wheel bearings? Thanks for the help

Call you local Napa store, they have the right part number and can get the correct part for you. I just put on both sides of my 12/99 F350.

after looking at it again. I def have front wheel drive abs. Wires come off each side up to a connector. I called advanced and they were selling me the one for before 3/22. No ABS. But like i said i def have ABS up front. Cant miss the wires coming off of it.

Yes these trucks, most all of them have front and rear ABS. The front wheel bearing/hub assemblies come in a one piece assembly. Those are the wires which plug into your harness just behind each front fender well. The rear ABS sensor is in your rear differintial. It bolts on with one bolt on the top of your differintial and can be replaced with a basic end wrench. Get a quick scan from your mechanic to determine which sensor has gone bad so you dont throw money at it. The front assemblies are around $280 per side at NAPA and the rear sensor is around $19 at NAPA. Hope this helps.

mine was built in 98 and it is considered a e-99, you have to buy your hubs by your vin, there are two different hubs, the only difference is the the thickness of where the caliper bolts on. all the ones i have seen have both the air line for the auto lock and the abs wires, hope that helps!
