Oil Pressure Question

Just did my 1st oil change. Have owned the F350 about 3 months now, has 114K miles on it. Stayed with Rotella T. Before oil change, my oil pressure was up almost as soon as the truck cranked and the oil light went off just as quickly. After oil change, it takes 2-3 seconds of running time before the oil pressure reads and the light goes off 1-2 seconds after that. Everything else seems the same. After its cranked, I let is stay at idle and don't mash the accelerator or put it into gear until the oil light goes out.

Just wondered if this was normal event. Thanks.

Sounds normal to me, I have the 7.3 with 225,000 km ( 120,000 mi.) running 15/40 synthetic.

Gord.
