Door Panel Removal???
Read the part about how to fix the actuators, but how the heck do you remove the panels without destroying them in the process? I'm planning on doing the "foil" thing this weekend (not foil delete) on all four door locks and I want to make sure door panel removal won't be the longest part of the job. Preesh any advice!!!!

here you go
Excursion door panel removal Its in the thread there are a couple screws one under the power window actuator and i think the other is under the reflector then just lift |

First pull of the black trim piece at the top front of the panel.....the piece by the mirror...
Then lift strait up on the front of the bezzle that holds the switches....the front will pop up, the back will then slide foreward.... there is a 7mm screw behind there....and also disconnect the connectors... Next pry off the reflector on the lower back portion of the panel. IF it has a light in there, be aware you need to disconnect the connector after you lift the panel off...There will be anohter 7mm screw there. Once both 7mm screws have been removed, the door panel will lift strait up and off... Make sure to use a torx 27 on the three screws for the latch, a torx 25 will strip them out... |
