Cooling fan question

Lately when its been hot out 85-92 or so if my truck sits out for about 8 hrs or more when i start it it seems like the cooling fan is engaged. Is this normal? I dont remember any of my work trucks doin it but then they sit in a shop where its cool overnight

it is normal for a cold mechanical fan clutch to engage for a short time on initial start up....its nothing to worry bout....as long as it doesnt stay locked up....
