need help with upgrading my E99 to the lighted turn signal mirrors

I am upgrading my E99 F250 to the lighted turn signal mirrors. For those of you who have already done this upgrade where did you tap into for power for the running lights, turn signals and mirror defrosters?

I was wondering if tapping into the trailer tow wiring harness for the turn signals and running lights would be a ok place to get power? But for the mirror defrosters I really dont know where to get power to them.

Any suggestions on what you guys did to upgrade your 99-02 Super Duty to the newer 03-07 mirrors would be greatly appreciated.

If any anybody has a link or a write up about this info could you send it to me? Thanks.

I'm not sure if anybody here in the Montana area has done this upgrade but if so maybe we can get together and help me with my upgrade. I checked the Montana members here on the forum but there are only like 9 total threads.

Anyway if you guys would be willing to share your experience and suggestions about this upgrade I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

nothing to add, but... after driving a buddies 2011, i love the new style mirrors. i will be saving up some coin for those!

dont tap into the trailer tow harness or else your mirror lights will come on when you brake!

I like the 08+ too, just a little out of my price range. This morning I saw on Ebay a guy had a set of used OEM 08+ mirrors for $509 each. I think he bought them put them on then took them back off. I dont remember his seller name but he is also taking offers. Maybe you can check him out. THe first time I was looking at the 08 mirrors on Ebay I saw some for $600, I thought that was for a pair not each. Wish I could afford that but I guess I will stick with the 03-07 style mirrors for now. Good luck

Just looking thru Ebay again< the seller that I was talking about reduced his price to $479 or best offer. His seller name is Mustangparts65. Maybe if you offer him $800 for the pair you could have yourself a deal. Wish I had the the cash.
