Need to swap from DRW to SRW
First I tried searching, but SRW/DRW are too short to search.
I have a chance to get either a '99 F450 CC 6-speed 4X4 or '00 F550 reg. cab auto 4x4 both with 100-110k miles ofr $15k each. (good deal, right?) Okay I am pretty sure I am going with the CC, but my problem is I have no use at all for a DRW truck. I really want a Powerstroke and I love the bombproof axles I get with these trucks, but I need SRW. So what all is involved in either an axle swap or special wheels? or what? I can deal with finding a bed, just not sure how to go about going to SRW? Also if anyone wants to trade for a DRW setup let me know, lol.
