anyone running a ARI INDUSTRIES torque converter

Came across this ARI torque converter. ARI INDUSTRIES. Anyone hear anything about them? I'm just looking for one to hold up to a do tuner and 38s. Don't give me the BTS Precision bull crap I'm not getting one of those. Also I got quoted for a stock 6.0 torque converter that's made for a 7.3 at $800 with shipping and core included. What ya guys think??

There is a reason everyone says BTS : JW or Suncoast.

But if you insist on taking a shot in the dark with a "no-name" tc company (and there are lots), you will probably get what you pay for. There are no "deals" out there, if there we're, we'd know by now, the 7.3 tc has been around since 1994. As far as the 6.0 tc, who is the manufacturer?

I know why everyone says bts just don't want to pay for one to be honest. I 'm just trying to check out all the different kinds out there. CT performance has the 6.0 one.

we'll i can understand that. i am by no means well off, but when this trans goe a BTS is going in. the way i look at it, I'll never buy another trans part after that. when replacing converters and things like that you always run the risk of non covered failure and having to replace parts and things like that. id rather spend a big chunk at once and have absolute peace of mind than have 2nd rate parts nickle and dime me for double or more. but CT Performance, i hear good things about them. so if i was going cheaper, id go that way. but id probably get a valve body too.

If had even close to enough money for a built tranny I'd be calling bts today
but I don't and my tranny works just fine it's a reman with no more than 80,000 on it. The truck has 112,000. So a upgraded TC and valve body is all I'm getting. I am getting a bts or jw valve body

the truck had the trans replaced at 22k? O.o

sounds like a plan then. i would just make sure you go with a reputable tc, because if you get a junk one that grenades... there goes the whole tranny
