Check Engine Light

I've notice my check engine light come on and go away after a few minutes. I connected my ODB code scanner but no codes pop up. Just curious if anyone had something similar. Could it be a intermit prob lurking?

There ARE codes there, you just can't retrieve them with the code reader you're trying to use.

Our trucks, despite the OBD-II port, are NOT generic OBD-II.

You need the right equipment, either a Snap-On, Mac, Ford (that are likely owned by shops) or look into buying a AutoEnginuity Scanner for yourself (a GREAT tool!)
