Question Turbo Bark ?

2000 F250 7.3 -banks ex system, big hoss stage 2 setting, Big head w/g, line pressure modulator kit in trans. 35K on truck
I thought the Trans was slipping pulling hard when the truck shift's up into 3Rd and o/d, had the truck checked out at the Power Shop in Enamclaw Washington, Checked out ok was told that the shreaking was Turbo Bark, aparently the the change in RPM causes the turbo speed to change radical causing the sound that I hear, has any body incountered this situation and how do you rectifie it-change the turbo? it doesnt seem to affect performance, I also encounter a flutering sound when pulling a sustained long pull up hill under load over aprox 2200 rpm, I am sure it's not the waste Gate!
I pull 2 mountain passes about twice a month-getting tired of the weird noies-Any Suggestions would be Greatly appreciated

You can get a bigger turbo housing. Or you can get the wicked wheel and use the stock housing. From my understanding that is how to prevent your problem.

Sounds like the fluttering sound could be turbo surge. The shreaking Im not sure unless your bearings are worn and your compressor or turbine wheel is rubbing on the housings.

Easy fix is a ball bearing turbo. Or if you don't want one you can buy me one and I will send you my stock turbo free of charge.

Sorry, you are wrong,it is definetly wastgate flutter, changing the wheel will eliminate the issue for you cheapest way,but changing turbos to say a ball bearing type Garrett would also work and give the same basic results.
