Trans HARD shifts

Ok, I just changed trans, t-case, front and rear diff fluids. The trans shifts HARD from 2-3. Its basically a stock truck with intake and a TS chip. At first when its cold it will kind of slug into each gear and you can feel it hang. Then once it gets warm it will Bump into gear (feel it) on soft acceleration but then if your on it moderatly it will slam into 3rd gear like its going to rip the driveline out.

I can get a good deal on a BD Valve body. Ive heard that could help. The trans has 220k on it so I know the trans and TC are tired but would a VB help hold it over for a while and improve the jerkiness?

Thought the TS Chips/tunes were some of the better ones? It had an edge on it and that thing fealt like complete ****! Its gotten better with the TS. You think going with like TW tuning it that it would be better? Like when I have the trailer on it, it seriously feels like its going to drop the trans out from under it on the shifts sometime!

Depends on whats goin on. Im pretty sure the ts chips dont come with tuning for the trans, changing shift points ect... But when you go with custom tunes they will, so it will be alot better. I went with tw, but I am about to send mine in and give php a try. I have also been reading alot of great things about cale and beans. Its up to you, the trans in out trucks are definately in need of an upgrade. Mine still didnt shift like i liked until i put in a valve body, even with custom tunes.

X2..custom tunes, we can burn TW custom tunes if you deside.

VB..good idea but get a BTS..at least if you deside to get a built BTS later you will get credit.

You will also start slipping the Tq converter with the added HP...might want to get a 6.0 converter..or better yet but lots more $$ A BTS
