2000 in-line trans filter question

I upgraded my trans cooler to the 6.0 unit and i searched everywhere for the proper id of the lines...which is the return, but found nothing. I put the filter on the line going to the back of the tranny, flow arrow toward the tranny...I want to make sure that this is in fact the return line and that the flow direction is correct. Any help? thanks

the line in the front of your trans going forward is the output line. the line going in towards the back of the trans is the return line. did you have a trans cooler right behind your condenser near the bottom?

Yes. It had the small factory cooler. I haul a large travel trailer and have read alot of the posts concerning tranny temps breaking 210' and didnt want that to happen. So I gather from ur I'd of the lines then the filter is installed correctly?
