so im thinking about buying the above truck from my work when it come up for sale. i have not got a price out of them yet but i really want the truck. its got some cosmetic defects like the steer tire had blown at one time & damaged the bottom of the fender, needs a windshield, the door a-jar light stays on & its in need of tires. overall the truck is in great shape.
so my question is what do you guys think its worth or what should i max pay on it?

if the trans feels ok then i'd pick it up, if they dont want to replace the windshield before hand then make sure you take a lil out of your offer... what are they asking for it?

they havent said a price yet (they might want way to much for it too)but i told them that i would like to pick it up if the price is good.
the trany feels fine to me. i drove it on a 275 mile trip the other day felt good except it still has stock exhaust & intake. i did notice that at 275 miles i was down to about 1/3 tank of fuel & i filled it up just before i got on the freeway witch all 275 miles was all freeway, cruise set at 73 (well off GPS anyway), rpms 2000.
i did notice that the speedo was off a bit from my GPS, think it said i was doing 81 when GPS was 73 & im not sure if the tires are correct size but i thought that was not very good fuel mileage. on my truck by the time the gauge is at 1/3 i have gone at least 400 miles
granted i have a 6 speed, open intake, open exhaust, 35" tires & the speedo recalibrated (GPS & speedo are right on).
