Extra Fuel Tank

Anybody have any experience with auxillery fuel tanks in the bed?

My new truck is '02 F350 Short Box and that 29 gallon tank is a joke... Pulling a load I'll have a 250 mile trip radius. I'll be stopping for fuel more often than my pregnant wife has to pee...

I've looked at a couple of options and I'm leaning toward the Transfer Flow system. Seems the most affordable and I can get 70 gallons to fit in my short bed. Now all I need is a cathedar and a liquid diet and I'll never have to stop again!!!!

I saw the Northern Tool tanks. The prices are great but I'm afraid that the install is just out of my league. Messing with the fuel system is bad enough but cutting holes in the sheet metal is something best left to somebody I can put the blame on later ;o)

Its not as bad as you think really. measure twice cut once. The holes you need are not huge
