SOON TO BE NEW TRUCK

Okay so i sold my 02 last Aug. to buy a 03 cobra. That was the dumbest thing that i could of done. Now im back to lookin for trucks and i found this one that i have kinda fell for. Kinda high miles but hey its a 7.3 it has plenty left in it. What do you all think?

2000 Ford F-250 LIFTED

the mods are not on the site but here is a list of what i can remember.

BUILT tranny (thanks god put 2 in my last one)
Dual Stacks
Edge with attitude (not a big fan so will be replacing)
6in lift with 37's under it

These are the red flags I saw:

*Stacked Chips - You can't stack these trucks.
*Edge Juice w/ attitude is a tranny-killer.
*Built Tranny - I would want PROOF.... and preferably waranty paperwork.

Otherwise...sweet lookin truck!

If he needs the funds for a shop that bad try for 10k. You may have to do front end work form the lift/tires, or pay for new tires and that'll be close to 2k. Nice truck, its the SD version of the F150 I had before my EX.

he is getting paperwork on the tranny from the shop.

He has a edge on it which i know or just **** and he had another handheld one cant remember the name. He had them both on the truck at the same time for awhile he didnt know you couldnt stack them.

I offered him 10 without looking at it and he said he would come down to it. Im going tomorrow to look at it and if it is rougher then it looks i will prolly try even lower

I'd be willing to bet money that that truck was rode harder than a $3 wh0re with a 2 for 1 special.

Ya know i dont doute it but what are the chances of finding a used 7.3 that hasnt been?

Just have to take a chance and pray for the best cause im sure in the heck not buying a brand new powerstroke

Well i went and looked at 4 trucks all together yesterday and and this one ran the best and looked the best out of all the others. He had all paper work on tranny when i went down there so yup just bought me another 7.3

I don't think I would ever be taking my trucks to him if he doesn't even know you cant stack chips on 7.3's. I have a bad feeling on that truck, I would probably pass on it. I just sold mine with less miles better parts and I guarantee better maintenance for less money.

The deals are out there if you look hard enough.

When i talked to him he said he didnt stack them he just has two different kind of tuners. He was a chevy man so ya he didnt no much on the powerstroker. The truck ran good i drove it around for a hour and even checked the 4*4 the right way lol. I dont know it was just the better truck out of the 4.

Well IMHO I think it is a lot of money and I dont feel good about the truck. If you like it by all means get it. Might turn out to be a great truck.
