ok i have a 99 7.3 man. 6 speed and i got the truck and the clutch was not there it felt like so i replaced master slave cylinder there is a rod that goes down into the bell houlsing and and a strap like thing that goes over it so the clutch will have back pressure so it will push clutch back out well i have replaced it and it broke again so is there a better part to buy any suggestions i am taking it to ford tomorrow the part itself is 165 plus 45 for them to look at it

99 and 2000 year models were bad for the arm the release bearing rides on to break in the middle , which would cause the slave cylinder to extend to far and cause it to go bad , may have to r&r trans to inspect or replace that arm
