Unhappy Bad Sunday..Share your memories..

Well today is not a good day, i recieved a phone call from my step dad, the conversation started out great and quickly went to " where are you right now" and "what are you doing" i knew something was up..

Thats when i was informed my best friend of 12yrs..my 138lb black lab was being put down today..He was the best dog anyone could ask for and a small tank at that, he was my fishing partner and did everything together, i wish i was home to see his final moments..im happy that he got to sit in the Ole Duty at xmas and go to town a few times with me..he ABSOLUTELY loved my truck, when i fired it up he came out barking away and sat at the door. If i went somewhere he was right there with me. The trucks seat will never be the same

RIP Buck.. 03-27-11

Share your memories..i know we all have them!

I know the feeling, we had our 10 year old put down after he became a very sick diabetic. Brought him home the week we got married. Too bad you werent closer. I raise a litter of Kellogg bred, block head, pointing labs. I have 5 to move out in about 4 weeks. If I knew how to post pictures I would post'em up. They are little tanks too.

Sorry to hear, I feel your pain. Last year we had to put down our dog that we only had for two years. Like your dog who loved your truck, mine loved my mustang, she would hear me coming a block away and be so excited to see me. I still find myself looking at the window when I come home, expecting to see her with her paws on the windowsill looking at me. I'm sure you have tons of great memories in those 12 years that you will never forget.
