Options for headlights

On my 00 Ex, my headlight assemblies are the old yellowish color and light the road horribly.

I used the McGuires headlight refurbish kit and very little help.

What are a coupld choice that are recommended for my truck?

I don't want to go hog wild with crazy add-ons or some wacky techno look (I don't mind a sharp new style, just not crazy). I am looking for a headlight assembly that will light the road nicely, and not blind the oncoming drivers.

If you have purchased a set from Ebay or somewhere else and like them, let me know the type etc...

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Wonderful write up on intake systems !

Do you have a write up on this? I am not sure I grasp what you are referring to. I am thinking it is using 05 headlights with a conversion kit. Where do I get the conversion kit from?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Hey, if you look under exterior in the 7.3 section and at the top theres tonnes of writeups. there called sticky's.

The 05 headlights fit in our grilles with minor modifications. the rest bolts right in place..ford never changed these trucks, or you buy an 05-07 header panel and everything bolts on with no modification.

I'm a big fan of the '05-'07 lights, I've put them in both my trucks... the ones for the red truck cost me $140 for the lights (with bulbs and shipping) and the relay conversion harness from GOS Racing was about $90. Cutting the headder panel was much easier the second time around, took about 3 hours to install the first set on the yellow truck a few years ago, took half that this time, on the red truck... need to update my picture in my sig now!!!

Whew, a lot of reading !

It looks like I have to pull and replace the bumper and grill off to do this 05 conversion ?

Hmmm, I am not sure if I want to get this involved. Maybe I will just use an 02 -04 setup. I saw on one post where someone used HIDs in a reflector and lit up nice and clean.
