Because I needed another truck...

So I just bought another 7.3!
My bf and I decided to go look at a cheap truck I found on craigslist but we really had no intention of buying another truck. But we were pleasantly surprised when we saw this truck in person - it didn't look like anything special online. Its an '02 F250 lariat 7.3 6-speed. It has a 2 position chip, 4" exhaust, afe intake, $1k worth of brand new tires Fx4 270k mi (the lowest mileage truck we now currently own! Haha!) It is also our first short bed truck
We planned on offering the guy $3k less than he was looking to get for the truck (advertised for $6500) but didn't think he'd take anywhere near that. We ended up giving $4k for the truck! The truck is pretty clean with a few rust spots typical for New England trucks but pretty clean for the high milage. The only thing we gotta do is buy a kit to rebuild the rear end because that's pretty shot
We'll be putting it on the road hopefully Monday morning

The thing is people get so scared of these high mileage trucks but My bf and I love them!

Not sure if the year was a typo or not but the Fx4 didnt' come out til 03

I think it's been rebadged... FX4 stickers, 6.0 door badges... or it's an '03. And maybe had a 6.0? Still would be a good price but I'd cry if I found out I had bought a 6.0 thinkin' it was a good ol' 7.3 PSD.

Nice find though... great price. I picked up the red truck in my sig recently for a tad more, I gave $6500, with lower miles. XLT with 180K on it.

Yeah apparently he wanted it to look like a 6.0 but its definitely a 7.3. Sounds good!
