2000 f250 cc 4x4

hey guys i have a friend sellin his 02 f250 cc 4x4. it has been sitting mostly for over a year so it needs battiers first of all. truck has 277,xxx miles an needs a fair amount of work. iam just woundering if its worth the money. it needs a bed cause he was hit right behind the cab, a windsheild new carpet an brakes. the drivers door handle broke to. i dont like the fact it has 410 gears wishing it was 373,s, anyway i can lower the rpm,s when on the interstate? thanks in advance guys. oh i can get it for $2,000

for 2k grab it, the drive train alone is worth that much!

Like they said the drive train is worth that not to mention the engine. If you're going to restore it back to it's PSD glory and drive it you should also check the frame's alignment to make sure it wasn't bent when it was hit. For 2k it would still be worth having it straightened.

i want to make it my dd, so i will try to fix it. he just wants it out of his yard, he bought a duramax. i have learned alot from reading all i can on this board so i have an idea of what i want to do. iam new to diesels so this will be my first. truck has never been chipped either.
