99 f350 price

so i just put a down payment on a 1999 f350, crew cab, long bed, dually, 6 speed manual transmission with 4 wheel drive. I've agreed to pay 11k for it
comes with 6 new tires and new brakes. (146k miles)
i've been proud of my purchase till today when i called my dad to tell him i'm buying it but he tells me i got screwed on the purchase. what do you all think of my price?
no rust, it's real clean both interior and exterior, black paint, just a couple minor problems really of no concern to the price. thoughts?
thanks

-kirk

EDIT: truck has never had a plow on it

Well, I think that is low mileage for a 99 and you can figure 1K on the tires unless it is a dually. You bought a good truck, no regrets. I don't know where you are but prices vary a great deal by location. I paid more for my truck, but it had 44K on the clock.

EDIT:It IS a dually so figure 13-1400 on tires unless you buy junk.

any thoughts on the injectors (remaining life)? truck sounds great but he now says at 100k they're past their normal life. my dad seems a bit flustered that i spent 11k on the thing. its a real downer listening to him lol
thanks

Tell him to go buy a prius. A pink one. To match his purse.

As far as injectors, as long as it has been cared for, they could last for a while. Lots of dirty fuel, or infrequent changes of the fuel filter could shorten their life. If you arent having problems, I wouldn't worry about it. Mine only has 91,xxx but it runs like a champ. There are pleanty of high mileage ppl here tho...

You made a good buy. Out here on the West Coast you'd probably be looking at 13-15k for that same truck. As far as the injectors go, change your fuel filter every other oil change and change your oil hot and often and you should get way, way more than 146k out of those things.

shoot, just paid 15 for my e99 but it was a 1 owner kept under carport with only 72k on it. miles are not bad, just sold my 01, it had 207 in it and ran like a champ.
