05 Conversion Headlights?

About to buy the housings but i have sealed beams. Will the harness for the Xenon ballast plug directly into my harness or do I need anything special?

Let me get this straight, you have the sealed headlamps (H6054) currently in your truck and you will be buying the newer composite housings to swap the sealed beam lamps into the composite style headlamp?

If so, I'm pretty sure the front end clip will have to be replaced for the composite lamps because of the bracket housing that mounts the headlamps for the square sealed beam is completely different.

The Xenon HID ballast harness will not work on the sealed beams. You have to purchase the HID kit for the 9007 series bulb, which has a totally different style plug.

Unless you mean that you will be buying the sealed beam lamps with replaceable bulbs and hooking up an HID kit? If that's the case, then the HID ballast will not supply sufficient power to the old sealed beams.

Correct me if I'm wrong with what I'm reading?

Oh crap......

When I was looking over my notes from doing this conversion myself, My brain did not register with my hands for this post. It is an H13 for the 2005+ truck lamps.
