Starter cable leaks fuel

Got a fuel leal on the right side of my engine. Its dripping off the starter cable. Where do the fuel lines run over there. I can't see any sign of a leak on top. Its right where things are tight back a little bit from the front.

I'm guessing your referring to the battery cable going to the starter on the passenger side of the truck. The fuel lines run on the drivers side, so you probably have a leak at the drain valve in the fuel bowl up top and it's finding it's way down to the starter.

The leak is in front of the crossmember on the starter side. It is near a frame clamp that supports the pos. cable. Is that the area where the fuel filter water drain runs out. This isn't a huge leak but it has been leaving a wet spot on the ground for a while. It's finaly warm enough to investagate

No, it dumps out behind the fuel bowl on the top side, but will run down the block and show up near the cross member.

I turned the filter drain valve on and off and seem to get fuel running in the same area. I picked up a new drain valve this morning at ford for $60. They said its a comon problem.
