hpop and upgrade questions.

ok so im about ready to put all my money into my motor and im wondering which hpop is the best? im having trouble deciding between the dieselsite adereline and beans srp1 what do you think? im also wondering if anyone running those billett aluminum intakes from beans? and is a fluid dampner worth it for 500 bucks? i guess im gona go with reman stage 1's from beans and the early d66 dominator along with the 140 idm mod and some brass doughnuts and that afe magnumforce torque booster tube. im just wondering if this sounds about right and find out what im forgettting about or overlooking thanks for some input

I think you can get a terminator modded 17* HPOP from riff raff diesel for around 600-700$ That should be more than enough for any injectors up to a mild stage 2

i've gone through clay aka riffraff for a lot of mods im fixing to order my tru trac from him for my dana 80 he just put it on his site, awesome guy great customer support. how can the term modded 17 hpop compare to the srp1 or the adereline pump? sure is a lot more in my budget and i know his parts are quality. and since mines an e99 i guess i have the 15" hpop so is that going to make a difference am i goiong to recieve a moded 15" hpop back? is there a difference? thanks

I real dont know how any of them compare, I also dont know weather or not you'll recieve a 15* or 17*, but I'm sure you could call and ask.... man I'm no help lol

.lol i just emailed him about it, have you seen the intakes from beans? there massive and sweet looking i bet the install aint bad and for 360 ish bucks i bet you could see a lill more boost or lower egts i wonder if they come with the new intake boots? i sure wish all these diesel shops were open on sunday lol

mine has just went out in the 7.3l so i did a lot of research and asking people between every brand and i bought a adrenaline pump, not in yet but glad i made that purchase should be a good one.

You can't compare modded HPOP to a SRP1..which is made by Gary at Stealth no one else!

This new pump has been in development for over a year . The Stealth SRP1 pump is designed for the 94.5’ to 03’ 7.3L and 03’ to 04’ 6.0L Powerstroke engines. The Stealth SRP1 pump is a “Stock Replacement Pump”, SRP1, that will give you Stage I performance in a stock pump housing! We have addressed all of the stock HPOP housing flaws while at the same time increasing internal displacement by almost 50%! This is an increase of over twice the displacement that our competitors are offering in their pumps! These new pumps have all new internal components for a reliable operation. Inside these new pumps there are all new larger billet pistons combined with a new 18-degree billet swash plate that still retains stock reliability while increasing displacement by almost 50%! With the new larger pistons and new swash plate we have managed to increase displacement to 10.45cc vs. the stock 6.8cc or 7.2cc pumps. All pumps are designed with dual ABEC-5 ball bearings for added stability during operation instead of a rear bronze bushing like the stock pump late model pump uses. All of the snap rings, o-rings, and seals are new. We have machined the 3 high-pressure output ports from #6ORB fittings to #8ORB fittings resulting in twice the thread surface area, which means no more stripped or blown out fittings. We have also machined the edge filter plug in the bottom of the pump and taken it from a #3ORB fitting to a #6ORB fitting resulting in twice the thread surface area. We also machine some of the internal passages to ensure proper flow in and out of the pump. These new Stealth SRP Stage I pumps housings are bead blasted and coated with a ceramic base high temperature paint. The front mounting gasket surface area is re-machined flat to ensure a leak free installation. All of our new Stealth SRP1 pumps are rigorously tested to full pressure and full rpm on our test bench for 30 minutes to ensure optimum efficiency and performance before they leave our shop. The Stealth SRP1 comes with everything listed above and is also covered with a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty.
