you can do an intake and a straight pipe for under 100 bucks if you do it right, and its worth every penny... your truck will thank you for letting it breathe.

so a 4" turbo back exhaust is not worth the money?

At least pull the muffler and cat if youve got one. Then just keep an eye on your egts. If your not planning on doing much more than tunes, the stock exhaust just straight piped should be fine. If you tow a lot or have plan to build it up more in the future, get a 4 or 5" turbo back.

I put a 4" turbo back on my work truck and got an extra 40-50 miles per tank.

the higher horsepower tunes will raise your egts, but like above, towing once a month shouldnt be a problem with a straight pipe.
If i remember i think the muffler on these trucks necks down to 2.5 inches inside. which is pretty restricting |
