With a 2001 PSD I would go with a position chip like TS 6 or simillar. You get the ability to change powersettings while driving. Also with any programmer or chip I suggest gauges.

upgrade on 01 psd

I have a boost and exhaust temp gauge installed already. Along with a 4" magnaflow exhaust. I bought the truck with the superchip power programmer but am not thrilled with its performance.

Then you will want a custom tune chip or programmer.

I had a superchip in mine, then I got a Tony Wildman chip(totaldieselperformance.com). There's no comparison. You won't believe what custom tunes will do. I mean that, You WON'T believe the difference.

I highly recommend DP Tuner. They have excellent customer service and a Kick Butt chip. I like me Edge EVO too.
