NUC Bypass oil filter ??? Hole too small???

I just bought one. Went in to install it and noticed the oil "feed" hole in the mount, which puts the oil into the filter, was tiny... measured it at .040" Is this correct?

Thanks for the reply... figured a pressure loss would occur with a large hole but it just seemed too small!
