So without something to turn the limiter off how can you go over 94????

THATS DEFINATELY TRUE, UR SPEEDO MUST BE OFF... IVE GOT A PIC OF MY SPEEDO TOPPED OUT BEFORE MY TS CHIP, IT SITS AT RIGHT ABOUT 94 (AND I KEPT IN IT FOR AT LEAST 5-10 SECONDS AND IT WOULDNT GO FASTER THAN THAT)...NOW WITH THE TS CHIP ON 140+, I CAN WRAP IT PAST 100

if you have bigger tires it makes the speedo say that you are going slower than what you really are..... around two or three weeks ago when I was racing a dmax he pulled over and we talked I asked him how fast he was going cause I knew that mine I was off and he said that he had it pegged at 120..... and mine only said around 90 or so.... and I couldn't go anymore..... and the only time he passed me was once I couldn't go anymore and that is when he said he passed me when he was going a 120 and he barely passed me then.....

I'm fairly certain that I've got a stock computer HOWEVER, the previous owner must have done something because there is a big sticker on my computer box that says "Diablosport" and picture of a Devil. I'm pretty sure it's stock though (or the existing chip is in stock mode?) cause I can't make smoke no matter how much I try. I've been meaning to pull it out sometime and look at it I just never have gotten around to it.
I would almost bet you that you have a 60 horsepower chip or around there. My 99 wont smoke with DJ's tow tunes either. If it was my truck I would pull the PCM and check for myself.

You're probably right actually. I have a small chip in there and don't even know it. All I do know is that I have stock tires and I checked the speedometer vs my wifes new car, she tailed me at 65 and my speedo is correct. I MUST have a chip, I've got to knowing now that it's not supposed to go over 94.

Most speedo's aren't 100% accurate after 80-ish mph...so I'm guessing it's your speedo. I COULD have been a mild tuner, but I"m not certain. I know in my Neon, when I got it up to 120+ on the speedo (Stops at 120), I was only doing about 115-ish. (Got clocked by a COP in the AZ desert and NO ticket. He was confused on how a 1998 Stock-looking Neon got up that fast!!! LOL )
