Yes the bulbs are on a different circuit and they are different bulbs then the rest of the back lights. It is possible to have them burned out. Your trailer light connectors make sure they are not correded at all. Any corrission will cause trailer light failure. Check the wiring, check the connectors and if they are correded use some sandpaper 100 grit and clean them up. Also put some dielectric grease on the connectors to prevent corrission. |

trailer lights
Thanks guys, figured it out, my truck did not have the light hookup on it when I bought it, so I borrowed my buddies. His truck is an 02 and mine is an 00. Ford must have changed pin locations in the harness, because the pins in his plug do not line up where mine needs them to. Does anyone know where I can get on, I have checked local auto parts stores and even a local RV dealer and they say it is Ford only, Ford wants $152 bucks for a 2 foot harness with both plugs.

Almost all parts stores and I know Wal Mart carry the adapter/ pig taill you need. Dont cost to much.
