Too cold for AIH delete?

Located near Philly, PA with some travel to the midwest and occasionally to MI, is it too cold to do the AIH delete? Anytimes the temp drops below 30deg the truck gets plugged in. Any thoughts or opinions, thanks

You can still do it as I have and Im in the U.P. of Michigan. Its there to heat the intake air for emmissions. It will smoke a bit more and longer till the truck is warmed up.

AIH has 0 to do with cold starts... its about extended idle... remove it and forget it.
