Tranny Fluid and Changing

Ok, I have an early 99 six speed and I am going to changethe tranny fluid what is the best brand and how many quarts. I have no manual, Just curious

Any Dexron III Mercon, or Amsoil rated for that and i think it will take 18 quarts to do it

ATF in a manual?????? Royal purple is the best gear oil on the market. It the highest shockload rating, period.....

Take a look at Amsoil. There's a few dealers on here.

You can get Royal Purple at PepBoys. If it were engine oil we were talking about I'd say no doubt if you can afford it go with Amsoil, but with gear oil its different. Royal purple has got some kind of moly additive that is great for cogs. I forget exactly what is called.

no really i have a early 99 you are suppose to run ATF no **** i thought it was a load to but look in any kind of manual call dealership if you dont belive me i dident belive myself but its true
