Ok why does no one believe me that my truck did not come with a cat. I bought it brand new in 2002 and when I purchased it. There was no cat on it, to this day there is no cat on my truck. Why does no one believe me. They want to argue one even accused me of cutting it off. How do I cut something off that was never there in the first place.

Mine never had one. I know that 2003 and newer trucks have them. But my 2002 did not come with one. I am being accused of removing it. When it was never there to be removed. |

No I was trying to get some people to come over to help me put my new 4 inch exhuast on. Well during the conversation I told them it is a straight pipe setup. They say they won't help me because it is illegal to remove the cat. Hello my truck never had a cat on it. I did not remove it. It came that way from the factory. But they want to keep arguing with me. Needless to say I do have a couple diesel guys coming over. Just to bad they are Dodge boys.

You are correct with it depended on where it was going after being produced. How ever Michigan does not have emission regulations. Besides what is required by federal law. There for my truck was not equipped with one. |
