4x4 not working HELP!

k guys help me please, 99 supercab,long bed 4x4, truck sits alot, just put new batteries in this morn, got truck started locked my hubs jumped in and "clicked" it into 4wd. i have electronic shift on the fly, i get no lights come on, no noises and it is not engauged, rear wheels just spin. pulled dash, i unpluged 4x4 switch, hooked up test light (i did test the light for good ground) i cant get it to light up from any terminal.??? WTF? i have checked all fuses, could this be a relay? if so anyone know location? my book is gone and my cover. please help asap!!!

Check #17 under the hood. Should be a 30 amp maxi fuse.

all fuses are good i just went and double checked.

Had a similar issue recently ended up being a broke wire going to the gem module. Had a local shop test the wires as I don't have the patience. I would start with the transfer case motor to make sure it is good, then go from there. Sorry for not being more help just my experience. They spent two days ohm testing every wire and only charged me 200 for the repair. In my book that's 150 less then the gem module that the dealer swore was the problem.
