Coolant leak HELP

So out of no where my truck started pissing out coolant. and I mean pissing like some one is pouring it with a hose. It is coming from the passenger side read corner of the engine...I cant pin point it but it look like it is coming out above the heads which makes no sense to me unless there is a line up around the turbo? ANY 2 Cents would be great I live in new england and have a 2 foot storm on the way and i use my truck to plow.

Sounds like one of the hoses running to the heater core. I don't think there is anything else back there. With the '01 you might have the vac operated shut off valve back there.

Same place mine's leaking. Can't get a good look so I'm going to run up to a shop nearby. Maybe they've seen the same thing before. Hope it's a coolant hose and not the "you know whats'

Very highly doubt it's the "you know what's" , hardly ever hear of HG probs.

the way min leaks it has to be a hose, or a freeze plug possibly? where is the heater core located on the 01 7.3?

Pass side firewall, one hose from the water pump goes straight to it & the other hose comes off the pass side head.

ah that sounds exactly where it is coming from....im not home now so i cant look but are they easily accesable?

Yeah not bad, they do have the push on deals on them.

ill hafta take a look when i get home from work, hopefully thats all it is...is the hose going into the head the quick disconnect style?

They are both quick connect at the heater core but pretty sure just worm drive clamps at other end, good luck with it
