injector tear apart

does anybody have a wright up on how to tear apart injectors? i bought a compression tester and it dosent work for powerstrokes after 94. and i have a junk injector im going to weld holes up for fuel and oil passages and weld in a pipe to adapt to gauge. any help would be appricated. just trying to make due with what i have. and go fig my truck is down and weather is calling for 12-18" of snow starting tomarrow.

You can take a glow plug apart and make a tester. Would probably be easier.

already tried that. cannt clear rocker arm. the pre94 motors use glow plug hole for testers and post use injector hole is what i have found buy looking for a tester and they run $200 +

You are not correct. All Powerstrokes use a Glow plug adapter to test compression.

You would not be able to modify a PSD injector to do this, and would not be happy with the results.

Read this tread and built the correct adapter.

there is a vid on yourtube somewhere and a guy shows you what he bought to make a tester. you may have to bump the motor a few times to clear the rocker arm. butwhat this guy did was make an extension so he didnt have to.
