Exclamation Gauges: Pick 4!

Ok, IF you had to pick 4, and only 4 Gauges, which 4 and why?

I am thinking at this point:

-EGT
-Boost
-Oil Temp
-Trans Temp

If you would pick something else, what, and why?

(Example, Coolant Temp instead of Oil Temp, because the Stock oil temp gauge is pretty good, etc.)
Whatcha Think?

I went with: boost, egt, trans temp, and fuel press. I would think fuel pressure would be extremely important if you happen to play with tunes that fuel heavily as it would tell you when to back off before you destroy the sticks. I'm no expert but thats just how I understand it.

Stock the fuel pumps fail... Nothing will leave you on the side of the road scratching your head quicker then a failed fuel pump, plugged pick up or the likes...

Fuel Pressure is a great choice.

Yessir, that is another great reason to monitor fuel pressure.

So what is everyone's opinions on the stock gauges?

I know it's common for the Tranny Temp Gauge to be "poor" quality,

But what about the Oil Temp Gauge?

" Oil Pressure Gauge?

They're pretty useless if ya ask me. It's like too little, just enough, or too much. Without numbers, the info on those guages doesn't mean much more than a flashing light when something is wrong. When I monitor with a scanner or diag software and there's fluctuations in the stock cluster, I don't feel that the adjustment in the guage is in any way accurate to the actual changes taking place. If you know enough to know or care what numbers you should be at, then you know enough to need more accurate guages.

I do plan on adding aftermarket guages to replace most of the things in my stock cluster because it would be nice to not have to break out a laptop or scanner to find out the real numbers to those parameters.
