Turns over no start no smoke 7.3
2000 250 excursion 7.3L New to Diesels
Had hard time starting few week ago change all glow plugs with help. Had a injector not firing I believe. We were planing on address that last sunday. but it died on the way home a few night before. Restarted in netural once then died again with no restart since. Have check all fuse involved with Injector drive module and ? computer up stream. Changed cam shaft sensor no help. I have opened drain of fuel bowl while turning over, seems to be plenty of fuel! I have a few Ideas Check injector oil pressure. Where to check and how. Pin out of connector above drivers valve cover to check injectors ohms. best way to access IDM to check injectors from there. Any Ideas would be great Thanks John |

Did it run rough at all before hand? If it did, there a little quick connect on the drivers side valve cover, unplug it and crank er over. I dont think your ICP sensor failing would cause a no start at all... but maybe. Give it a shot unless im missing somethin...

Wasn't running rough before glow plug change. Disconnected pulg on a fuel or oil manifold didn't help but that might discount that sensor.
Thanks for the Idea!!!! |
