general questions

I am looking at geting back into a diesel and i know that to rods in the 01 were not as good as the older ones. my question is what is the most hp they will handle befor they pop. because i'am thinking of an low milage 01/02 and intake, 4" exhaust turbo back stright pipe,and a adj chip like bully dog or ts. my old 99 had the same but i had the superchip set on 110 and it was fine for 45k befor i got rid of her.

if your not planning major internal mods (big oil, hybrid injectors, etc) then the factory rods will handle all the power a chip can throw at it with simple things like exhaust and intakes.........Marc
